1. What we collect
The Bytode website is a non-custodial interface onto smart contracts. The site itself does not collect names, emails or documents. Wallet addresses that interact with the contracts are public on-chain data by nature of the network.
2. Eligibility & KYC
Subscribing to the token requires a wallet to be whitelisted, which involves identity and eligibility verification (KYC) performed by our transfer agent or its qualified provider. That verification is governed by the provider's own privacy notice; only the resulting whitelist status is written on-chain. Simply browsing this site does not trigger any KYC collection.
3. Local storage
The interface stores UI preferences (filters, position cache, NAV cache) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
4. Analytics
We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Aggregate, non-identifying usage metrics may be collected to keep the interface reliable.
5. Third-party services
NAV, reserve and attestation data are served from our public read API; on-chain reads go to public network endpoints or your own wallet's provider. Those services see standard request metadata (IP, user agent) under their own policies.
6. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be announced on the blog and dated above.
